about

Jerry's father was a man shrouded in mystic folk lore. Little is known about his travels or expertise, but we all can agree, we love em for makin Jerry. That being said, we still don't know lotz about the guy. We can estimate Jerry's father was born sometime between 1882-1886. No one knows when he died, however. He's just dead. "Yeah, I didn't see em ever between the ages of 7 to 23, but at my 24th birthday party, he showed up, returning a from a stint at the agency to wish me well. I said, 'father, won't ya play a few tunes with me!?' He said, ' no boy, not til your a famous musician from the sixties'" said Jerry once. True to his word, Jerry's dad arrived one day at Jerry's studio on a way boat voyage from Mesopotamia. All he brought with him was sand and a hat. "'Jerz' he said, ' how bout we lay down some tunes'. I said, 'Ok…'" That following recording session brewed many an emotional song, and the duo found themselves without a drummer, due to McGruffins overdose/lobotomy. Jerry's father stepped up to play the skins, while Jerry recorded with an acoustic guitar for the first time in decadez. They still say if you look in the sky on a cold November night, you can see that Lonesome Sparkle.
